Welcome back amazing entrepreneurs! This week’s topic is very exciting – how to attract dream clients in a not so conventional way. Lets get into it!
Dream Clients: AKA, the ones you want buying your products without asking 2,328 questions first, the ones who are happy to pay full price, the ones who don’t need to “know” you and the ones who sign up without needing months of nurturing…they are the ones who are all repelled by the very things most gurus tell you.
Here are 5 proven do’s & don’ts to attract dream clients on Instagram:
- Don’t focus on value content (teaching constantly, essays of advice, or over sharing your process) – dream clients are turned off by this, it’s too much of trying to prove yourself to be valuable.
- Do highlight your customer’s results more than you highlight the features of your product. They want to see that you can resolve their highest value problem. This will cause them to be intrigued to find out more about the product.
- Don’t use hype marketing, discounts or never ending bonuses. Dream customers are happy to pay in full for what they want. Doesn’t mean never do these things, it means rarely.
- Dream customers don’t need to know you, too many make the mistake of sharing the history of the business and over share their expertise…what customers actually need to know is what you can do to solve their highest value problem (what they are longing to fix). Focus on this.
- If your product is expensive, use the words premium or exclusive; dream customers will feel like they are missing out on something highly valuable to them.
